Schulz had his suspension cut from six matches to five by the AFL Victoria Country Appeals Board in Melbourne on Tuesday night.
The reduction means the former Greater Western Sydney player is free to line-up for the Tigers in the grand final if, as heavily tipped, they advance straight from the second semi-final.
Schulz, who was again represented by Iain Findlay, appealed the sentence handed down by the Ovens and Murray tribunal for engaging in rough conduct against Wodonga Raiders’ Brodie Filo at Birallee Park on July 22.
Schulz’s only other suspension came when he was outed for one week while playing for the UNSW Giants in the NEAFL in 2015.
The Tigers take on Yarrawonga, Lavington, Wangaratta Rovers and Myrtleford in the final four rounds.
