Mulwala is patchy. Those catching fish are using a mix of casting wake baits and trolling good old hard bodies such as Custom Crafted and Oargees. Those missing out are doing the same! That’s fishing for you.

Blowering is pretty patchy too. We’ve had great reports over the last month of big cod, good bags of reddies and some decent rainbow trout being caught but mixed among that there’s a lot of fishos dipping out.
Prime time for the cod and trout seems to be early morning. For reddies, it’s just dropping an ice jig or flicking a blade around once you’ve found a school and hope they’re on the chew.
