Luke Norie was the only boy from the region picked in the Victoria Blue side, while Rosie Blain, Bella Heagney and Ellie Jarrett all made the girls Victoria White team.
The nationals will be played in Perth from September 29 to October 8.
Norie was part of the under 13s Victorian academy and successfully trialled to make the state team, while Blain, Heagney and Jarrett impressed at the Victorian Junior Country Championships in May, before progressing through two trials.
HAW Director of Development Sharyn Norie said the tournament will be held in conjunction with the Australian Hockey League.
“It will give the kids an idea to see where they need to get to play at a high level,” Norie added.
The HAW record for under 13s state representatives is eight in 2013.
