Strong teams picked by Albury and District Bowling Association for annual President's Cup

Albury and District Bowling Association will be looking to win back the President’s Cup when the tournament heads to Gundagai Bowling Club this weekend.

This is the seventh year of the competition restricted to bowlers in grade five, six and seven pennant.

Albury and District won the crown on home soil in 2015, with this year’s hosts Southern Highlands entering the two-day tournament as defending champions.

The Albury and District teams are as follows:

Team one: Rob Unsworth (Holbrook), Ray Moore (Culcairn), Bryan Gee (Oaklands), Ron Bonat (Oaklands).

Team two: Bruce Barber (Culcairn), Jason Hetherton (Howlong), Trevor Smith (Howlong), Steve Tessier (Howlong).

Team three: Lochie Hair (North Albury), Bill Jones (North Albury), John Danaher (Oaklands), Neville Wegener (North Albury).

Team four: Bryce Babel (North Albury), Ralph Behrends (Commercial Club), Grant Brazier (Commercial Club), Wayne Price (North Albury).
