A total of 51 teams took part across 12 fields, with the help of 45 referees who completed a special course to allow them to officiate on the day.
Holy Spirit, Lavington and Lavington East were the standout teams in the girls league tag competition, while Holy Spirit and Holbrook Public School took the honours in the boys.
Each of those sides will now progress to the Trent Barrett Shield finals in Wagga on September 5.
Organiser Dean Whymark was delighted with the response and said there is room to accommodate even more teams next year.
“The standard has improved each year, so hopefully the Albury Junior Rugby League and Wodonga Storm numbers keep growing,” Whymark said.
Whymark added there is the possibility of starting a girls tackle competition at next year’s event.
