Girls Write Up, a writers festival founded by the Stella Prize, a literary award for women, will be hosted at The Cube on Thursday, October 12.
Mount Druitt-based writer Winnie Dunn will deliver a keynote address, while attendees will also hear from five other writers.
Freelance journalist Alana Schetzer, writer and artist Alice Chipkin, graduate lawyer Sara Mansour, poet and broadcaster Alicia Sometimes and spoken word poet Lorin Elizabeth will also present at the festival.
Girls Write Up is aimed at girls aged 12 to 18.
Tickets are $25 and can be booked ta the Stella Prize website.
