One new officer to join Albury police next week

ALBURY will gain one police officer following a NSW Police graduation ceremony. 

The officer was one of 226 new police recruits to graduate from the Goulburn police academy on Friday. 

The probationary constable will move to the rank of constable after a year in the job.

The officer will start work in the Albury region on Monday and cover a range of roles. 

NSW Police Commissioner Mick Fuller said the new recruits would be an integral part of the community.
