On Monday, Mr Hadson will don a bright pink wig to raise money for a sick little girl he’s never met.
Mr Hadson said he was touched by the story of Bonnie, 4, who has Campomelic Dysplasia and needs surgery to correct bowing legs.
“I don’t know her, but the poor little girl didn’t get a good start in life so if I can do anything to help, why not?” he said.
The Baranduda man responded to a request on Facebook for a truckie to don to wig and raise $500 – but he’s upped the ante saying if he manages to raise $5000 he’ll wear it for a week.
“The boys think it’s a great joke,” Mr Hadson said.
Bonnie’s grandma of Banora NSW said Mr Hadson works for Hume transport who support the fundraiser.
