Brenton Newnham, Fraser Cullen and Andrew Nixon suited up for the Victorian team, playing their way into the bronze medal game.
They defeated the eventual silver medallists Queensland in the midst of an impressive run of matches, but ultimately succumbed to New South Wales, who went on to win the gold.
The bronze medal match against the ADF was a hard-fought affair, with the heat taking its toll and Victoria playing without a bench due to injuries.
In a gutsy effort, Victoria claimed the bronze with a 1-0 victory.
Sam Daly, Jessie Nixon and Georgia McCormack played for the Victorian women's team, while Ronan Myyrylainen played for the Australian Defence Force.
Though the women's team struggled in the Queensland heat, the Border's talent shone through.
Four Albury-Wodonga players were selected in Australian Country under-21 and open teams to play overseas.
Cullen and Nixon were picked for the under-21 side, while Newnham and Daly were picked in the Open team.
Daly was named captain of the Open women's team.
The under-23 team will play in Fiji this December, while the Open team will travel to Singapore.
