After being moved from the midfield to full-forward to help deal with a leg injury, Clark sliced up Magpie coach Craig Bosley’s defence in a classy display.
“He might be injured, but he was still really strong leading up,” Bosley said.
“He played well.
“They got away from us early and we couldn’t peg it back.”
Bullioh led by 22 points at quarter-time and 44 at half-time with Jordan Condon, Ryan Brown, Ben Taylor and Jake Fisher-Curnow controlling play.
Co-coach Clint Ried picked off marks at will deep in defence.
Zac Burhop and Brandyn Phillips also hit the scoreboard and will play important roles in next weekend’s grand final against Corryong at Corryong.
Border-Walwa had chances to reduce the deficit in the third quarter, but kicked a wasteful 0.9.
Michael Wever was strong in the ruck and up forward and Tom Mcgibbony had his moments around the packs.
Dan Leeworthy was stretchered off the ground in the opening minutes of the match, but returned to be one of the Magpies’ best players.
League best and fairest winner Dan McCarthy had his moments.
“Bullioh like to run the ball and Corryong is a bigger, stronger side,” Bosley said.
