Christine Anu: In Conversation and Song at Albury LibraryMuseum on September 14 will see Anu talk about the origins of her songs and issues important to her, such as family violence and Indigenous language and culture.
She told The Border Mail performing with different musicians for a variety of audiences allowed her to enjoy again familiar songs from her 20-year career.
“Watching the crowd singing along to the songs; through other people’s eye I’ve been able to find a special spot for it all,” she said.
“Where would I be without the people who love my music?”
