Gooramadda Olives received two gold and five silver medals as well as the People’s Choice award.
The Wicked Virgin received three silver awards, Ye Olde Duck Farm and Andrew Buller received one silver award each and Olive Hills one bronze award.
Wangaratta’s Wangandary Grove picked up a silver and two gold awards. Oils of Milawa shared the Best in Show trophy with Barfold Olives north of Kyneton.
The awards, which have been held since 1999, were held at Wangaratta and drew more than 70 entries from across Australia.
Oils are tested for both chemical and organoleptic (senses – smell and taste).
