TWO former Corowa mayors are among the nine councillors formally elected to Federation Council.

The distribution of preferences on Wednesday morning saw Fred Longmire and Paul Miegel voted on to the council, an amalgam of Corowa and Urana shires.

Other former Corowa councillors confirmed were Gail Law and Norm Wales.
