‘Fraudster’ pair case in court after alleged credit card scam

TWO men accused of involvement in a major fraud syndicate will return to Wodonga Magistrates Court next month.

Saad Samad and Tarek Hamze are accused of scamming hundreds of thousands of dollars using credit cards.

They were arrested in Wodonga in May and the matter was briefly heard again in court on Thursday.

A third person has been jailed for their involvement.

Samad and Hamze – who both live in Sydney – will return for a further hearing on October 12.
