Founded in 1964, the choir has established itself as one of Australia’s finest treble choirs.
It is often called on to sing with Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, Opera Australia and Victorian Opera with performances including Orff’s Carmina Burana, Mahler’s Third and Eighth Symphonies, Tobias’ Jonah’s Mission, Berlioz’s Damnation of Faust, Bach’s St Matthew Passion, Berlioz’s Te Deum and Britten’s War Requiem.
The choir, which has made more than a dozen international tours, is made up of about 200 boys aged between 7 and 15, who start do a two-year training period before performing.
There will be 42 boys on stage for the Corowa performance.
