Burrumbuttock’s Fandrich family said the field days were a great chance to check out the latest machinery.
“It’s a great day out for the children,” Sarah Joy Fandrich said.
“One of our boys wants to be a sheep farmer so he loves it, he cares for all the sheep on our property.”
Thomas, 8, said his favourite thing about the day was walking around, seeing all the machines and getting free samples from store.
George the Farmer, a character who teaches children about producing, put on a popular live show to inspire the next farming generation.
Children also enjoyed facepainting, chainsaw displays and a petting zoo.
