Truck runs car off Hume Freeway as driver takes off jumper
A truck driver will be charged with careless driving after losing control of a B-double on the Hume Freeway while trying to take off his jumper.

He was travelling in the left lane at Wangaratta South at 9.45am Sunday and started to veer right, forcing the four-wheel-drive in the right lane to swerve to avoid impact. Both vehicles ended up on the median strip.
“It was only a matter of 15 metres and they would have been in 15 Mile Creek – it was a lucky escape,” Leading Senior Constable Jo Miller said.
