Launched on October 4, Love² will generate money for the Australian Marriage Equality campaign.
Australia’s only social enterprise beer company, The Good Beer Co, joined forces with Bright Brewery and the YES campaign to launch the new session pale ale.
Australian Marriage Equality Campaign spokesman Peter Black said the name said it all – Love squared.
“We’re stoked that The Good Beer Co and Bright Brewery have got behind a YES vote with this awesome beer!” he said.
Bright Brewery owner Scott Brandon said Love² was a refreshing pale ale with a little bit of sweet malts that made it very easy to love.
“We love brewing it, we love drinking it and we love sharing it with everyone, no matter what their preferences,” he said.
“We’re very proud to be brewing it for The Good Beer Co and adding our support to this important campaign for equality.”
Love² beer will be launched on tap at Collective Kitchen & Bar in Brisbane at 5.30pm on October 4 and at 18 supporting venues in Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.
The beer is on sale online for pre-orders in 50 litre kegs and cartons of 24x330ml bottles at www.thegoodbeerco.com.au/love
