Police are searching for two men who tried to hold up the Newmarket Hotel bottle shop with a kitchen knife.

A male worker was in the process of closing the East Albury shop just before 10pm Friday night when he was approached by two men who demanded money.
One was armed with a blue kitchen knife.
When the victim called for help from inside the hotel, both offenders ran away without any money or goods.
Police are yet to identify either culprit.
The first man was in his late teens or early 20s and described as having as being six feet two inches tall, with a thin build, and wearing a black hooded jumper, grey pants, black runners with white tread and black gloves.
His accomplice was also in his late teens or early 20s, about six feet tall with a thin build, and was wearing a black hooded jumper and black and white runners.
