Ryan has been a sports trainer with the TAC Cup club since 1994 with talent manager Mick Wilson saying he had made a huge impact.
“Rob’s been entrenched in our program for a long time,” Wilson said.
“He plans to continue to support the club and enjoys seeing the players develop, not just as footballers, but also as people.”
In other awards at Sunday’s best and fairest count, Wodonga Raider Daniel Bond took out the coaches award and Nathalia’s Tom Boyd won most improved.
Shepparton Bears’ Lachlan Ash was named the most valuable under-16 player.
Boyd, Wodonga Raiders’ Floyd Bollinghaus and Wodonga’s Harry Jones have been given permission to play as 19-year-olds for the Bushrangers next season.
The Bushrangers are in the process of appointing a female talent co-ordinator for next year.
