Raiders start their campaign at home against Tallangatta.
It’s the start of a double-header weekend of T20 games.
The long-time cellar-dwellers will then face Albury in the second game on Sunday.
Since returning from a four-year stint at district level, Raiders have had three winless seasons.
They had two wins in 2014-15, but have snared the wooden spoon the last four seasons.
Raiders recently signed former Lavington premiership player Steve Keene as coach and he’s known as a passionate leader.
“We have to do the basics right, on and off the field,” he said.
“We’re looking at individual improvement from everyone helping the team cause.”
Rounds three through 12 will be one-day games, with four two-dayers after Christmas.
