Electrical fault in capital city leaves Border credit union customers suffering

A BLACKOUT in Sydney cruelled WAW Credit Union’s banking services for five hours on Wednesday.

The power outage at a data centre hit internet banking and ATM services from 10.40am to 3.40pm.

WAW regulatory services manager Ross Kearney said a redundancy site had failed to takeover services as promptly as expected.

“We’re very, very sorry for the inconvenience that’s been caused and anybody that’s got ongoing problems please contact us and we’ll see what we can do to help,” he said.
