The side held their own against the best netball talent in Victoria, but fell short in the final against Two Bays, 23-10, after defeating North Central 25-19 in the semis.
Noel Halton coached the side and was assisted by Wodonga A grade netball mentor Shea Cunningham.
Regional liaison officer Michelle Hamilton said there was no shortage of talent in the region with big numbers at the trials in the lead-up.
“Some of the juniors, even in the under 17s, are playing A grade and B grade in Ovens and Murray,” she said.
Lavington star Skye Hillier was set to play in the event before rupturing her ACL in the Ovens and Murray A grade grand final.
The under 17s, coached by Fiona Boyer, finished the tournament with eight wins, eight losses and a draw, while Jodie House’s under 15s side had eight wins, six losses and three draws.
