With the Tigers refusing to budge on their one-year offer, Miles is exploring his options.
Miles has been linked to Gold Coast, Brisbane, Geelong, Carlton and Adelaide with his trade relying on bigger-name dominoes to fall into place.
The midfielder is expected to be worth a third-round selection after enjoying strong seasons at Punt Road in 2015 and 2016.
He came fourth and six in best and fairests during those seasons.
Miles managed only five senior matches for the AFL premier this season after the Tigers recruited Dion Prestia (Gold Coast) and Josh Caddy (Geelong).
He was one of Richmond’s best performers at VFL level, averaging 32 disposals and eight clearances to finish fifth in the JJ Liston Trophy count.
Miles played 10 games for GWS before he was delisted and taken as a rookie by the Tigers.
