The Main Street business was targeted about 3.30am on Sunday morning.
Two men forced their way into the property.
They had been travelling in a silver Holden VE Commodore, and fled when a milk truck passed by, only to return moments later.
They took $6000 worth of stock, including jewellery, watches and a unique clock.
The vehicle had three mag wheels and one rear stock wheel.
Detective Senior Constable Ben Ryan said a tool had been used to pry open the front door of the business.
“It seems they have been disturbed by a truck, they've left in a car and a short time later they've returned and maybe taken a few more items, and then left the scene not long after that,” he said.
“Police are appealing for anyone information on that car.
“If anyone knows the owner of the car or has seen that vehicle in the past, they can contact Crime Stoppers.”
Detective Senior Constable Ryan said the route was commonly used by truck drivers.
He said some drivers could have dash cam footage of the Commodore.
Anyone with information can call 1800 333 000.
