With the Swans’ top-order falling cheaply to some good bowling from Tom Simmons, Ziebarth came to the rescue with 95 to put a competitive 8-153 on the board.
Trent I'Anson was the only other batsman to reach double figures with 25.
Walla were always struggling in the chase with Simmons (65) and Mark Taylor (20) the only batsmen to spent any time at the crease.
Darcy I'Anson was the destroyer with 5-17.
Rand showed it cannot be discounted by defeating Walbundrie by 30 runs at Rand.
Chasing 6-156 for victory, the Pigeons were always in control of the chase with Mitch Thomas (47), Clint Ralston (33) and Bryce Swift (19) leading the charge.
Walbundrie’s Craig Mabon (58), Austin Trethowan (41) and Nick Molkentein (27) batted well in the club’s return to the competition.
Brocklesby had the bye.
