In section one men, Wodonga Bulldogs snatched all the close sets in their five sets, 42 games to one set, 37 games defeat of Wangaratta.

Di Larkin was the standout on court in Wodonga Larrikins’ 4-2 triumph over Forest Hill.
SPD opened their account with a 5-1 win over Wodonga Diamonds.
Thurgoona Jade easily defeated Wodonga Slammers.
Sacred Heart started slowly before warming to the task, taking the points against Wodonga Bushrangers in the pick of section two men.
Travis Prater remained undefeated for the winners with good support from Zac Smith, Chris Mitchell and Brendan Hoffman, while John McVean was best for Bushrangers.
Forest Hill Diggers dominated the singles rubbers in completing a 5-3 victory over Forest Hill Magpies.
Gary Graetz, Josh Bear, Lachlan Graetz and Chris Wood impressed, with James Star a two-set winner for Magpies.
Outstanding tennis from Greg Tuck was key in Forest Hill Wombats account of SPD, with Albury too strong for Thurgoona.
In the ladies, Forest Hill beat Wodonga Silver, SPD easily accounted for Glenly and Uiver Park defeated Scots Black.
A classy fourth stanza from Peter McMahon and Roy Scholz helped Albury reduce the deficit after a slow start against SPD Black.
Rob Gilchrist and Neil Shannon also contributed to the four-game triumph.
There was another close battle between Glenly Blue and Wodonga Eagles, with the former home 4-2.
Bronte Lee was outstanding for SPD White in their 4-2 win over Scots Red.
Saturday morning junior pennant and coaching continues from 9.15am.
Meanwhile, the third event of the North East Veterans Group tournaments is on Sunday at Euroa, with the first of the Sportspower junior tournaments at Albury on October 29.
