Beechworth Wildlife Stays’ Sue Hiatt and David Haythorne hosted a celebration unlike any other for twins, Ivy and Daisy, both goats.
Clients from Wangaratta’s Yooralla were invited to attend the celebration, and enjoyed themselves so much Mrs Hiatt wants to make it an annual visit.
Like many young birthday kids, Daisy, who is a boy, and sister Ivy, were a bit shocked to find themselves the centre of attention.
“When we first let them into the party area they were very timid but before long they were devouring their cake and running around stealing food,” Mrs Hiatt said.
“We had a goat cake for the birthday boy and girl and a big chocolate cake for the human guests.”
“They’re very cheeky, they have a playground and love their slide or jumping on their trampoline.”
