The Thunder bus visited a handful of schools, ahead of the pre-season clash against Melbourne Stars at the Lavington Sportsground on December 12.
“Sydney Thunder is doing a regional tour of NSW and it was particularly targeted around Albury this week,” Cricket NSW’s Robbie Mackinlay said.
“They show highlights of last year’s WBBL and BBL seasons and there’s also an inflatable bowling and throwing lane, so it’s really interactive.”
Last year’s inaugural Border Bash was a stunning success.
It attracted 9962 people with three games thrilling the monster crowd.
This year’s event has been cut back to two games with the women’s match still played for competition points.
