The Turf Club’s Steven Keene said the aim was to have all businesses in the running for the best window display.
“It’s something we’d thought about, but we needed someone like the chamber to get on board,” he said.
Business Wodonga business manager Neil Aird said the idea had been embraced by other regions and with the CBD’s new look, now was the perfect time to get on the bandwagon.
“It will be annual; we want people to get involved, we want people coming to town and staying the night,” he said.
“We have about twelve signed up already.”
Businesses who register will receive a gift pack from Racing Wodonga.
Registrations close November 3 and displays need to be completed by November 7, with the top four windows receiving a double-pass to the marquee.
