For 18th time, vintage cars, beehive hairdos and the sounds of Elvis Presley, Johnny Young and Buddy Holly will ring out across Tallangatta in a two-day celebration of old-school cool.
Rock 'n' roll dancer Matthew Davies said his interest in dance could be traced back to the first time he'd attended the festival.
“We absolutely hang out for this every year,” he said.
“The festival was what got me into Johnny's Rockers in the first place, so it's a bit of a homecoming so to speak.
“It's always good, they’ve got the bands, they've got the dancefloor, they’ve got the cars and the whole town really gets into it and steps back into that time.”
The festival kicks off on Saturday with a talent quest at 12:30, while in later the evening the Rockin’ Daddy's kick off their concert from 8pm.
Elvis tribute artist Dean Vegas headlines on Sunday, as well as the show and shine and market stalls.
