“I wasn’t knocked out, it probably startled me more than anything when it happened,” he said.
“I had pins and needles down the back of my neck, but I got over it after a while and it didn’t really affect me.”
Thompson hadn’t scored, but he recovered to post 47.
“It was scary for all 24 players and umpires,” concerned Belvoir captain Matt Jaensch said.
