After finishing runner-up for the past two years, the association is keen to go one better in the six-district competition.
Albury and District defeated titleholder Wagga in a recent trial match at Holbrook before going down to the Ovens and Murray.
But in a major blow it will be without skips Peter Forck and Glenn Harrison.
Chairman of selectors Wally Bourne said he was happy with the side.
“We had to make a few changes due to unavailability but the side has still come up well,” Bourne said.
“No games will be easy though.”
Albury and District will play three games on Saturday and two on Sunday.
The side is:
Lawson (Cul), Slater (How), Boyle (Henty), Hensel (Cul); Ross (NA), Czuczman (NA), Honey (NA), Broad (NA); Simmons (NA), Jones (Holb), Doolan (How), Dawson (How); Furze (NA), Kern (Henty), Balloch (NA), Pantling (Lav); Ronan (NA), Watson (Cul), Martini (NA), Brundell (How)
