Backing up from his 128 against Benalla, the former Shepparton United captain-coach was again unstoppable with 149 as the home team made 9-325 chasing 178.
His knock was laced with 21 boundaries and two towering sixes.
“It was a pretty special knock,” stand-in Yarrawonga-Mulwala skipper Reid Clarke said.
“I don’t think anyone has made back-to-back hundreds at the club before.
“We spoke about blokes going on and making consecutive big scores as a team thing and he certainly did that.
“As soon as we walks out to bat he’s full of confidence and plays shots from ball one.
“He’s fitted in really well at the club.”
Lawrence, who has moved to Mulwala from Shepparton, has made 324 runs in the opening four rounds and is yet to bat with Matt Knight who was unavailable at the weekend due to a wedding.
Ovens Valley United opening bowler Michael Newton had Yarrawonga-Mulwala in early trouble at 4-58 before Lawrence took the match away from the visitors.
Beechworth defeated Delatite by 116 runs, Rovers United Bruck were forced to work hard to defeat Greta and City Colts accounted for Wangaratta Magpies by 12 runs.
Benalla had the bye.
