Wodonga urban farm Bunyip Hollow will offer a farm tour and lunch on November 19.
Part of the Albury-Wodonga Sustainable Living Festival, it is a chance to learn about one of the biggest collections of native produce grown in Australia.
Bunyip Hollow co-owner Cyan von Gija said the family-friendly program would show an extensive collection of edible native plants.
“The focus is on native produce or bush tucker but there are plenty of things to see on the farm,” he said.
Mr von Gija will talk about running a small, organic farm, which included rare breed sheep, pigs, a small vineyard and a truffiere.
He will discuss the history of the property and its conservation of the billabong as a refuge for endangered wildlife.
Ebden & Olive chef Jodie Jones will use sustainable and native ingredients from the farm to make lunch.
The event runs from 10am until 1.30pm. Bookings essential by Wednesday.
