Journalist and filmmaker Kale Brock will bring The Gut Movie to Albury on Friday.
Brock said the film explored gut microbiome and explained its impact on health issues such as depression, anxiety, Alzheimer's, ADHD and irritable bowel syndrome.
The Gut Movie follows Brock’s journey to discover the optimal microbiome in Namibia, where he met The San, an ancient hunter-gatherer people living traditionally from the land.
The Gut Movie shows at Regent Cinemas Albury Wodonga at 7pm.
Brock will host a gut health workshop at the Commercial Club Albury on Saturday from 9am to noon.
He will show people how to make fermented foods such as sauerkraut, kimchi and kombucha.

The Gut Movie official Australian tour began in Adelaide on Sunday and will travel to 10 other cinemas around the country.
Gastroenterologist Professor Thomas Borody, molecular geneticist Dr Margie Smith, immunology researcher and expert Professor Mimi Tang and naturopath and chiropractor Dr Damian Kristof provide commentary in the movie.
