The program has delivered close to $7 million for pet food factory expansion at Howlong and $4 million towards the Lavington Sportsground redevelopment in recent rounds.

But funding for the Henty railway relocation project bombed out due to other funding partners not being locked in.

Farrer MP Sussan Ley is encouraging councils and not-for-profit organisations to apply for grants.

“We have already benefitted from the last round of the BBRF with millions of dollars being delivered to projects across my electorate,” she said.

Applications close for the latest round on December 19.
