Lavington Public School will hold a fundraising colour fun run or walk on November 26 over two and five kilometre courses at the Albury-Wodonga Equestrian Centre, Thurgoona.
Parents and Citizens Association president Kathy Barnes said the idea made a change from the usual school fete.
“Just doing something different, we thought, might bring the community together, not just our school community but the wider community as well,” she said.
“The kids are very excited, I think the adults are, too.”
Participants are encouraged to wear white T-shirts to make the most of the colour powder being thrown while the day will also include a sausage sizzle, drinks, photo booth and DJ.
“It gets the families out and active, “ Mrs Barnes said.
“Out in the fresh air, a bit of fun as well.”
The gates will open at 10am for a 10.30am start. For tickets, go to stickytickets.com.au/54867.
