Lavington captain Michael Galvin says the next step in his team’s development is to adopt the ‘district’ philosophy.

The Panthers are in their first year at the second-tier level and posted four straight wins before falling to Dederang.
“I think some district sides have looked to take the game away from us with their aggression,” Galvin explained.
“With provincial, people can worry a bit too much about technique, but in district they just play their shots and you can find the game slip away from you very quickly.”
Lavington posted 7-171 against Dederang and that’s another area Galvin is looking to improve on Saturday.
“It’s not about batting 40 overs and making 170, we need to make 220-230,” he said.
“I think, just in stages of the game, we don’t let the bowling sides dictate the terms to us.
“That will be tough against Wodonga, they’ve got a quality attack.
“I got to see Leigh Collins first-hand last year in the provincial stuff and we rate him very highly, he’s a quality bowler.”
Collins sits equal second on the wicket-taker’s list with 11 scalps.
Captain Mason Brown also sits in the top five, while youngsters Charlie Jackson and Elijah Hollands have also had impressive starts.
“The young guys (Jackson and Hollands) are going to be very good cricketers, so their attack is something we’ve got to get through, we can’t let them get on top of us,” he said.
The home team remains the only unbeaten outfit.
Elsewhere, Mount Beauty will emerge from a mini-break at home.
The Power had the bye prior to last weekend’s round, with three washouts.
Yackandandah though will be just as determined, given it fell to the winless Howlong last week.
The visitors posted only 108 against Howlong.
And that followed the loss to Wodonga after starting with three straight wins.
Dederang, which sits in second spot with a five-one record, is home to seventh-placed Eskdale.
The team still had two overs left in passing Lavington’s score of 171, so it will be favoured to keep the visitors out of the top six.
Corowa will also look to keep Bethanga winless, while Kiewa has the same issue.
The grand finalist hasn’t been able to kick-start its season after losing a number of star players.
Kiewa faces Baranduda without its top three from the decider.
Sean Taylor, Rob and Jacob Barber aren’t there, while leading paceman Ryan de Vries joined East Albury, where he’s yet to play.
