Originally from Henty, Muller has spent the past two seasons on Essendon's VFL list.
He played in Bundoora's premiership this year.
Muller played for North Albury previously and will dramatically bolster a line-up which has tumbled down the ladder in recent seasons.
The 200cm ruckman has been targeted by several OM clubs over the off-season including Wodonga Raiders.
Despite North Albury's lack of depth in the reserves and thirds, the Hoppers loom as a potential improver with a lack of recruits coming into the competition .
Former Adelaide Crow Chris Schmidt and Clinton Gilson will coach the club.
