Murray Conservatorium Choir will perform John Rutter’s Magnificat as well as the well-known Hallelujah chorus by Handel in Albury on Saturday night and Wodonga the following afternoon. The trio of concerts begins with a performance in Walla on Friday.
Choir director Hugh Fullarton will lead the performance, with Robyn Krowicky (piano), Jennifer O’Hara and Katja Jorgensen (flutes) and Kim Lewis (oboe) to accompany the Rutter work.
The vocal soloists include Michaela Schmidt, Jodie Schutte and choir scholarship winners, siblings James and Emily Strachan.
- Concert venues and times are: Friday, December 8 - Zion Lutheran Church, Walla, 8pm; Saturday, December 9 – St Matthew’s Church, Albury, 8pm; Sunday, December 10 – St John’s Church, Wodonga, 2.30pm
