With rain creating havoc over the past month, Mackinlay said his side was eager to consolidate its spot in the top four.
“Another win before Christmas is extremely important for our young playing group to get more and more confidence going into the second half of the year,” Mackinlay said.
Holbrook hasn’t batted since November 9 when Dylan Fairall hammered a ton to lead the Brookers to victory over Henty.
Bailey Parker and Mackinlay will also need to fire to upset Todd Hannam’s TRYC line-up.
“It isn’t ideal not batting in the middle for nearly a month,” he said.
“We’ll see what happens.”
In the other match, Henty play host to Culcairn.
Osborne has the bye.
