Wodonga Carols coordinator Lindsay Hanchett said it was the first time the service had been offered at the carols in its 42-year history.
“They will interpret every song and every word of the event,” he said.
Mr Hanchett said thousands of people were expected to turn out to the carols at Willow Park this year.
“It’s going to be another beautiful night and it’s a beautiful venue for the carols,” he said.
Twenty-five carols will be performed by 22 performers and community and school choirs on the purpose-built stage.
Pre-carols entertainment and food are available from 6pm while the main carols program runs from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.
