New Year’s Eve Gig Guide
- Wodonga New Year’s Eve Family Fireworks Spectacular: an evening of food stalls, free live music and family entertainment. Strictly no BYO alcohol. Location: Birallee Park Marshall St, Wodonga.
- Family fireworks, Wangaratta: There will be an array of interactive entertainment before the sun goes down to keep the kids amused with the first fireworks to commence at a child friendly 9.15pm. For night owls, stick around as the live music starts and the big screen goes up, and check out the movie (Moana) that will take you through to the midnight fireworks show, welcoming in 2018. Ovens Riverside Precinct.
- Albury Harness Racing Club: The first of eight races commences at 7.10pm, with the last to start at 10.52pm. Live music will continue right up until midnight, before a fireworks display to see in the New Year.
- Beer DeLuxe: Happy New Beer! Say cya to 2017 at Beer DeLuxe. Catch IRON BEAR live on stage and one of our fave house DJs on the decks in the beer garden!
- German Austrian Australian Club: From 7pm. Cost: Members $25 and Guests/Visitors $30 Celebrate New Year’s Eve with The Reclining Rockers. Everybody welcome to enjoy a delicious meal, friendly company, great music for dancing plus a free glass of Champagne at midnight. German Austrian Australian Club is located at 5 McFarland Road Wodonga.
- One Nightclub Albury: Dress in all white or any character that wears white. Black Light Cannons, Atomic Midnight Confetti Blast, Ultra Violet Face Painting, poppers and more. Club opens 9pm FREE ENTRY before 10pm.
- Public House: Molly’s Masquerade Party where you can enjoy unlimited sips and canapés and live music into the sweet hours of 2018 (til 2am).
- SS&A Club: Studio Lounge and Bar, Stand & Deliver and Red Belly Black. It’s time to relive the fabulous 80s in the ultimate tribute to the decade of colourful outfits and memorable hits. Plus, Blue Brothers, 7.30pm, from $45
- Commercial Club: Open until 2am. Zodiac Lounge, live bands from 5-8pm and 9pm-1am.
- Zed Bar: Live DJs
- Mulwala Ski Club: Dain Runnalls on the Malibu Deck from 5pm-9pm. DJ Alive on the Ski Club foreshore from 10pm. The Shakers from 10pm in the Main Lounge. Topped with a massive fireworks to bring in the New Year at midnight!
