Rory Parnell reached the semi-finals of the under 12s boys singles on Friday with two straight-set wins at Wodonga Tennis Centre.
Parnell accounted for Maita Munyimani in the second round, 6-0, 6-1 and followed it up with a 6-3, 6-3 triumph over Charlie Camus in the quarter-finals.
He will now face Mudiwa Munyimani in the semi-finals.
Ella Brown was made to work extremely hard to reach the final four of the under 12s girls singles.
Brown defeated Japan’s Kurara Kume, 6-0, 4-6, 6-3 to set up a clash with Sienna Leeson on Saturday morning.
