The club has changed its format by introducing three very different 5000-metre races over different surfaces and varied courses.
Round one will be held at Ludlow’s Reserve, taking in the rail trail and finishing where it started.
The surface is gravel with slight undulation.
The second round is scheduled for 7pm on Thursday, February 1, at Wodonga’s Sumsion Gardens.
It will be a flat, fast course, including four laps of the lake along the paved bike path.
Entries close at 9pm on Wednesday, January 31 and can be made by emailing to bilfay49@gmail.com or calling 0427 203 258.
The final race of the series will be held at Wodonga’s athletics track on Thursday, February 15.
Competing in round one or two will provide automatic entry to the final.
Nominations must be lodged by 9pm on Wednesday, February 14.
For handicapping, all entrants need to provide a credible time for five kilometres or a timed event.
Entry fees are $10 per event or $25 for all three events, with a minimum age of 12 for competitors.
All runners must be at the start to check in from 6.30pm at each run.
