BOM senior forecaster Dean Stewart said there will be some cloud cover as well as high temperatures over Victoria this weekend.
“The change will be relief in southern Victorian but as it moves to northern Victoria it will weaken with temperatures staying in the high 30s of low 40s across the weekend,” he said.
“The difference will be a lot more cloud cover across the state, isolated showers and the odd storm in parts of the state.
“Thunderstorm activity will be quite isolated with a chance of dry lightning in parts of northern Victoria.”
