The WDCA outfit held off Colac District Cricket Association by 45 runs in a heat-reduced final on Friday.
Tom Nightingale (62 off 62) and captain Jacob Schonafinger (49 off 59) steered the WDCA to 8-205 from its 35 overs, before the side restricted Colac to 7-160.
WDCA’s Joe Thomas impressed with figures of 3-21.
“Last year was the first time in probably a decade we’d been back to Country Week and we won div three and were lucky enough to win div two this week,” Schonafinger said.
“We won all five matches, but certainly the competition was a lot stronger than we faced last year at Bendigo.
“We batted really well and were able to defend on some pretty good tracks and do the job each day which was good.”
