The Bulldogs, who last won against Rutherglen on November 25, saluted in three of the four rinks to consolidate their position in the top four.
Kylie Whitehead defeated Ron Makin 29-16, Josh Rudd accounted for Melissa Roberts 32-26 and Peter McLarty outpointed Robert Tait 29-18.
Yarrawonga avoided a whitewash thanks to Kevin Evans edging out Paul Davies 29-27.
“It was good to win and get some important points,” Wodonga lead John Howes said.
“Yarra started well but we were able to wear them down as the game went on.
“Next week against YMGCR will be crucial for us in the run home.”
Corowa Civic proved too strong for Rutherglen, winning 125-76.
Dawn Hayman was the biggest victor of the day accounting for Ross Rankin 41-12 while Colin Hendren’s rink was also outstanding defeating Graeme Goudie 42-16.
Max Scanlan defeated Chris Langdon 22-18.
Rutherglen’s Bill Campbell took the honours against Thomas Webb 30-20.
The clashes between Benalla and YMGCR and Kiewa Valley and Wangaratta were abandoned due to the heat.
