Albury police posted an update on Facebook saying while the 21-year-old was a little shaken from the experience, he was safe and well.
“We appreciate your support in looking for him,” the post said.
EARLIER: Police hold grave concerns for a man who has gone missing from a care facility.
Jacob Cozens, 21, was last seen about 2pm at Pearsall Street, near Urana Road, on Wednesday.
Police have launched an urgent appeal for information.
There are concerns for his welfare given he has an intellectual disability, with police searching nearby areas.
He is about 190 centimetres tall, very pale, with shaggy short dark hair and thin build.
He was wearing a black Akubra hat, white long sleep top, black pants and lime green sneakers.
